NimbleBit has soft launched its casino-themed Tiny Tower sequel Tiny Tower Vegas in Canada, and it's pretty much exactly what you were expecting it to be.

You build a tower, fill it full of hotel suites, gambling machines, and eateries, then sit back and watch the cash roll in. You have to send people up in the elevator, hire new staff, and keep your guests happy too.

It's presented in NimbleBit's inimitable style, and there are some slots-based mini-games for you to complete to earn extra currency to help run your casino.

High-profile guests will set you little tasks every now and then as well. One we played had us scouring the hotel for bags of gold. Our reward when we found them was a chip to use on the machines.

It certainly doesn't feel like a departure from NimbleBit's successful formula, but there is a bit of malaise creeping into proceedings. It remains to be seen whether Tiny Tower Vegas will add enough to stave off the feeling of repetition that have started to dog the series.

We will, of course, let you know when Tiny Tower Vegas is available world wide. In the meantime, if you've got a Canadian iTunes account, you can download the game for nowt and give it a whirl yourself.
