Okay, so Nokia isn't going to feel that offended that a version of Snake has appeared on iPhone. Not least because the game was around long before it appeared on the company's handsets.

Anyway, TiltSnake is a defiantly old-skool take on the retro action game, as you can see from the screenshot.

The gameplay remains the same, too: move your snake around the screen eating food while trying not to munch its own tail. Do snakes have tails? You know what we mean.

However, the big change is that TiltSnake uses the iPhone's accelerometer to control the snake's movement. We're a bit unsure about this, though. Can tilting supply the pin-sharp direction changes required?
