Green-fingered iOS puzzler Tilt & Sprout has been updated with iPhone 5-compatible visuals, a new scoring system, and an overhauled in-game store.

In this horticultural offering from indie dev Twiddly, you are cast as Tilt, a bluebird who wants to grow beautiful flowers (kind of an avian Alan Titchmarsh).

Anyhow, you must use your device's accelerometer to guide sprouting shoots up through the earth, avoiding hazards and navigating mazes as you go.

A new leaf

As of this week, Tilt & Sprout boasts newly updated Retina display-compatible graphics, and supports the iPhone 5's slightly longer screen.

There's also a new in-game store from which you can purchase upgrades, some fresh Game Center leaderboards, and a level skip option for anyone unable to break new ground.

You can pluck Tilt & Sprout from the App Store for the reduced price of 69p / 99c.
