Thief Lupin 2 makes robbery very, very accessible. It just takes one finger, in fact. Anyone can be a robber - even you.

We never covered the first Thief Lupin game, so all we have to go on is this free to play sequel. From what I've played so far, it seems alright.

You play a master thief who travels around the world stealing precious treasures and a lot of gems. For your crimes, you'll face the wrath of Dracula, a giant puffer fish, and an angry ape.

Levels are split into separate screen-wide floors, each of which provide a different set-up of hazards for you to avoid.

Your thief runs automatically across the screen, so what you have to do is hold your finger on the screen to make them stop.

It's all about getting the timing right so that you avoid oscillating rows of spikes, flying bats, thorny barrels, sharks (when swimming), and so on.

In some levels, this single tap and hold has an extra function. The second level, for example, has your thief jump when you take your finger off the screen.

It means that there should be plenty of depth to come in that easy control system. I can imagine that the going gets pretty tough later on with multiple hazards to avoid at once.

Of course, you can spend your earnings on new characters and outfits that should hopefully making progression a little easier.

A cloak gives you increased defence, for example, and the characters have unique abilities to get used to. It should keep you busy for a while.

Thief Lupin 2 is available to download for free on the App Store right now.
