Season finale of The Walking Dead: The Game lurching onto iOS on November 21st

The season finale of the The Walking Dead: The Game is due to shamble onto iOS devices next Wednesday, a.k.a. November 21st.

Conceived as an interactive spin-off to the hit TV series, The Walking Dead: The Game has become something of a phenomenon in its own right, with many people reacting surprisingly strongly to its emotion-shredding storyline.

In this fifth and final episode of this run - which is appropriately entitled 'No Time Left' - players will reprise their role as convict-with-a-heart Lee Everett, and, through their choices, decide who will make it out of the series alive.

The really good news is that, for the first time, iOS users will be able to download an episode of The Walking Dead: The Game on the same day that it lands on the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network.

Up until now, the App Store versions of Telltale's apocalyptic zombie melodrama have lagged a month or two behind the home console version. Hopefully, this simultaneous launch will prevent spoiler-happy peeps on your Twitter feed from ruining your fun.

You will be able to download No Time Left as an in-app purchase from within The Walking Dead: The Game's menu.

If you're a fan of the series (and you should be), we suggest you set aside £2.99 / $4.99 for next Wednesday, and grab an extra big box of Kleenex.
