The Swords of Ditto will be the latest Devolver Digital game to make its way to iOS later this month

Devolver Digital is back with another mobile port. This time around they're bringing adventure rogue-lite The Swords of Ditto over to Apple Devices. It will be available for iOS on 24th October.

Already available on the Switch, where we reviewed it earlier this year, The Swords of Ditto is an action RPG where you play as numerous adventurers in a relentless fight against Mormo. Each time you die you'll start again as a new hero and the successes and failures of your previous character will affect the next in line.

How you tackle the game is up to you, you can immediately go and find Mormo and try to defeat her if you wish, though it'll likely end in your own demise. Alternatively, you can make use of the limited days you'll have in the game to level up, get new equipment so that you can be as prepared as possible for the final showdown with Mormo.

The cutesy art style of the Swords of Ditto extends to the weapons you can find as well. Alongside your usual sword and bow, you'll also be able to use a vinyl record or a golf club as weapons. To gain new perks and get buffs for your hero you'll have to collect stickers. It's all very wholesome so I hope the game translates well to phones.

Devolver Digital have always been big supporters of mobile. This year alone they've ported Gris over to iOS as well as releasing numerous games specifically for phones. Witcheye and their plethora of Apple Arcade games such as Exit the Gungeon and Cricket Through the Ages show they're committed to the platform. And they publish great games, so it's a wonderful they release so many.

The Swords of Ditto will be available on the App Store on 24th October and you can pre-order now if you'd like. It'll be a premium game that will cost £5.99/$5.99.
