San Francisco-based dev Pixowl has just updated the iPhone and iPad versions of pixel-art build-'em-up The Sandbox with a relatively small chunk of new content.

Fire up The Sandbox after downloading this update and you'll notice two completely new elements (Meteorite and Bomb). These enable you to quickly destroy your on-screen creations.

If you haven't already purchased this game's extra Pixel Artist campaign, you'll now be able to download it completely free of charge.

Other new additions include three blueprints (wizard magic tower, futuristic tower, and giant robot), more Facebook integration, and additional ways to earn bucketloads of free Mana.

If you've yet to download The Sandbox, you can grab it from the App Store for free right now.
