The Paris Dossier serves up WW2 spy mystery with a film noir dressing on iOS and Android

If film noir and World War II spy fiction has an appeal for you then you might want to consider checking out The Paris Dossier.

It's the debut title from father-son team Lexica Games and it has you sleuthing and solving puzzles around Nazi-occupied Paris. You play as British spy Artemis who is on the trail of a traitor.

This traitor has been working with the French resistance but has since turned their hand to the Nazis.

You have to work through the clues and puzzles this traitor has left in their wake throughout the streets of Paris in order to track them down.

The result is a point-and-click style adventure game informed by film noir. Hence the black-and-white aesthetic and dimly lit streets.

You can download the first level of The Paris Dossier for free on the App Store and Google Play. To unlock the full game it costs £1.49 / $1.99.
