Naked Gun episodic adventure game preparing to shoot up App Store in February
L.A. Noire and CSI to be parodied
Announced in August for a fall release, it now seems that Paramount's Naked Gun: International Crime Unit Police iOS game is gunning for a February 2012 release.
In development at US studio Gamecentric Media, it's going to be an episodic adventure game in the style of Hector or Sam and Max, which will parody modern crime dramas like CSI and NCIS, while also taking a swipe at games such as L.A. Noire and Angry Birds.
Six episodes are planned, with the plot coming from original franchise writer and producer Bob LoCash.
Gameplay-wise, it's said to mix up old skool game mechanics with social features, including a tie into a Facebook game.
