Halfbot is almost ready to bring its online Flash game The Blocks Cometh to iPhone and iPod touch, finally supplanting the copycat version that has been illegitimately keeping its seat on the App Store warm.

Developer EdisonGame recently brought The Blocks Cometh to iOS without the consent of Halfbot. Its name, art, and concept were left unchanged. The only difference was the addition of a character stolen from fellow iOS outing League of Evil.

It was subsequently removed from the App Store with the help of irreverent website Destructoid.

In a nod to this, The Blocks Cometh is set to include two extra playable characters - a ninja character from League of Evil, and Destructoid's own Mr Destructoid.

The Blocks Cometh is currently being reviewed by Apple.
