At long last, The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is available on the App Store
Cry no more, Isaac is here
After a bumpy road of Apple rejections and many Twitter teases, the popular indie roguelike shooter The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is available on iPad and iPhone, for £10.99 / $14.99.
A high price even for a port, but Binding of Isaac has the content to match. Following the titular child into the gross depths of a horror-filled basement, you augment your tear bullets with almost 500 modifiers, items, and other pick-ups, as you survive against over a hundred different enemies and bosses.
Hundreds of rooms and secrets await, along with millions of potential builds, each one changing Isaac's appearance and bullets. With the right skills, you can unleash boomeranging poison tears, turn your tears into multiplying scythes or lasers, among countless other possibilities.
Rebirth also touts local co-op with MFi controller support, letting your companion choose from dozens of characters, as well as iCloud support, and the ability to play in landscape and portrait.
You can find The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth on the App Store.
