The Beggar's Ride gives a homeless old man a chance to become a hero, out on October 22nd

"Even a beggar can become a hero," the trailer to The Beggar's Ride tells us.

And you think yeah, sure, a beggar can become a hero. But in this game, a hardcore platformer, that comes with a lot of risk.

This beggar finds a mysterious mask that acts as a key to another world. This world is ripe for a hero but doing that requires he risk life and limb by jumping precariously over spikes and cliff drops.

So saying a beggar can become a hero is like saying anyone can become rich as all they need to do is win the lottery. It's not quite that easy, huh?

Still, with its unusual main character (stranger than a blue hedgehog?) and vibrant world of vanishaing platforms, seesaws, and deadly swinging pendulums, this may be a platformer worth checking out.
