Newbies
Welcome back to Pocket Gamer's round-up of the latest iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad mid-week releases.
As you all probably know by now, we produce this article each week because we're simply too busy to bring you a story on every single new game that hits the App Store.
These games have recently hit Apple's New Zealand outlet, meaning they should be available to download in the UK and US from around midnight this evening.

Arranger is a strange game. It's one part retro fantasy-RPG, one part mini-game collection, and one part old skool music-infused adventure game.
This interactive musical game is packed with different instruments, such as the guitar and the xylophone. Each instrument boasts its own attributes and weaponry, which you can use to tackle enemies and destroy bosses.

In Gear Jack, you take control of a small android called Jack, who's the only robot on his ship who hasn't been turned crazy by a strange electromagnetic shock wave.
Your aim in this auto-run platformer is to successfully traverse 30 trap-filled levels and prevent the vessel that's carrying you from being destroyed by a black hole.

League of Evil developer Ravenous Games's latest iPhone and iPad release is a Streets of Rage-esque side-scrolling brawler that boasts lovely-looking pixel-art graphics.
In this beat-'em-up, you punch, slap, pound, and smash your way through 20 action-packed levels and five bosses en route to giving your former company's CEO an overdue beatdown.

Chillingo's Max Awesome is a Joe Danger- and Trials HD-style racing game that puts you in control of a legendary daredevil.
You have to wheelie, flip, and jump your way through 60 obstacle-packed stages without falling on your face and damaging your rather excellent quiff.
Stages are also packed with objectives. By completing them, you are rewarded with "awesomes". You can spend these on new helmets, outfits, bikes, and tricks.

This follow-up to Cubed Rally Racer is an endless-racer in which you're challenged to travel as far down a track as you possibly can.
Each of this game's procedurally generated tracks is packed with oil drums, barriers, gophers, and even monsters - all of which will result in more than just a fender bender if you hit them.
