The App Stork: Introducing Canoe Slalom, Psychoban, and Tap Tanks
|

The App stork has returned to regurgitate news about incoming apps that might just have flown under your radar.

He grabs all the shiniest and most colourful objects from the iPhone and iPod touch developers' section Pocket Gamer forums, so if you want to make sure that your game is chosen include plenty of information, screenshots, and videos.

Let’s see what the App Stork has spied this week.

Canoe Slalom

Canoe Slalom, from Steven Ridley, is a fun little game in which you paddle with your thumbs, guiding your little canoeist down a river.

The game comes packed with features, including more than 20 courses and OpenFeint achievements. Canoe Slalom came out yesterday, and it costs 59p.

Psychoban If you like classic puzzle games in the vein of Sokoban, then you’re likely to really like Psychoban. It's a familiar game covered liberally with insane paint, placing you in the role of an inmate trying to escape from an asylum.

Psychoban costs £1.79.

Tap Tanks Tap Tanks is a 3D strategy game with an arresting visual style. While most strategy games are somewhat preoccupied with forcing the player to collect a somewhat arbitrary number of resources before letting you mess around with the coolest units in the game, Tap Tanks appears to take the approach of giving you cool stuff to play with, and then making it all even cooler.

With an asking price of free, this is one strategy game you'll want to get your fingers all over. Here it is.
