The A-Team explodes onto the App Store

Or perhaps more accurately...A-Team sneaks onto the store dressed in a giant lizard costume

With the new A-Team movie out now in the US and heading across to European shores - presumably just as soon as B.A. has finished assembling a submarine out of bottle-tops (or Hannibal has 'persuaded' him aboard a Murdoch-piloted plane), it was only a matter of time before this prequel game of the film put in an appearance.

We'd expected the action-packed app to come in all guns blazing (possibly beneath a somersaulting jeep that had mysteriously been propelled skywards), so we were surprised to find that it had actually sneaked under the radar a la a disguised Hannibal at the end of last week.

Nevertheless it's here now and that's what matters, so whilst our review is in the offing, we're going to take the chance to tell you about it. As you'd expect there are four main characters to be controlled (that's Face, BA, Hannibal and Howling Mad Murdoch for all of you who haven't seen the movie or weren't around in the 80s) and each are armed with different skills that will be required to combat the 20 levels of gun-toting evil-doers spread from jungle warfare to desert strongholds.

With a diversity of strategies on offer (including the ability to ambush, attack head-on or explode everything) and an overall experience described by the developers as 'highly recommended for fans of MiniGore, Guerilla Bob and Call of Duty', we have high hopes that this plan will come together nicely.

We'll find out either way in our impending review, but you can try it for yourself in the meantime by clicking the App Store button below.
