The arcade powerhouse developer behind classic hits like Ninja Gaiden (AKA Shadow Warriors), Dead or Alive, Rygar and Bomb Jack has just made its App Store debut with three new iPhone games.

Annie's Wild Shot is a brand new property, featuring the eponymous tomboy heroine who takes the law into her own hands in a touchscreen-powered wild west shooter. The superb manga-esque graphics and bizarre action (as only the Japanese know how) make this look like it could be something of a sleeper hit.

It's currently on special offer at just £0.59, so if it's caught your eye it's probably a good idea to grab it sooner rather than later.

Also on Tecmo's new iPhone roster are two faces you might recognise from Dead or Alive, although they're throwing aces and jacks rather than kicks and punches.

Rio BlackJack and Girls of DOA BlackJack - the Kasumi version both feature some great looking casino card playing action, shored up by some hot anime images of the beat-'em-up babes.

Head on over to Tecmo's App Store page to check out the games.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
