HandyGames inks up App Store for Tattoo Mania
Needles at the ready
We've all spent time intoxicated in dodgy backstreet tattoo parlours choosing between 'Love & Hate', 'I Love Mom' and 'Wino Forever', right? Right?
And then, the following morning, trying to work out if the pain or the shame is worse.
Right?
Still, attitudes have moved on. Now, even the most staid girl boasts a well-turned heel embroidered with flowing scripts or a nape with a small bird or a celtic knot on it.
And it's this artistic endeavour HandyGames is looking encourage with its new iPhone and iPod touch game Tattoo Mania.
In charge of your own rock and roll needle shop, you have to sketch increasing detailed designs on your customers' skin - there are five different areas including leg, torso, back, arm - before inking in the colours.
You do this by moving your finger over the design to fill in between the lines.
Of course, you're rewarded with cash depending on the quality of the finished masterpiece, as you can see from the video.
And in keeping with the atmosphere, HandyGames has also spent plenty of time getting the music right to provide the appropriate soundtrack for your skin work.
Tattoo Mania is due to be out during August and there will be a simultaneously released free Lite version, too.
