PGC Helsinki 2016: Mobile games aren't challenging enough? Tap Fly Hero begs to differ

If you regularly lament the fact that mobile games aren't challenging enough, then you're in luck - Quantum Shake has developed a real tough one in Tap Fly Hero.
As the name suggests, you have to tap to launch your chosen character throughout numerous challenging levels, avoiding lava and a variety of other pitfalls.
There are two buttons which launch you diagonally to the right or the left, and you have to use these in combination to maneuver about. It's trickier than it sounds.
So much so, in fact, that Quantum Shake were quick to point out that most players don't complete the first level until their second day of playing. That's what helps keep it addictive though, as you always feel like you'll manage it on your next attempt.
There are a bunch of characters to collect - some of which have their own unique abilities. Others come with different special effects, like a cat that leaves a rainbow trail in its wake or a robot that shoots lasers out of its eyes.
Tap Fly Hero is in soft launch globally on Android right now if you feel like a challenge. Sadly, us iOS users will have to wait for the full launch later this year.
