If you love 16-bit era JRPGs then the visuals and soundtrack in Swap Heroes 2 is going to pull on some serious heartstrings for you.

It all looks and sounds like the best SNES game that never existed, basically.

The gameplay left me a bit cold though. You swap characters within a formation, with each having their own special abilities and attack types, but I found that sticking to one setup worked best, and that luck still played a pretty decisive factor in whether or not you got your final victory.

Swap Heroes 2 is arriving on iOS and Android on Feburary the 18th, and will be a paid game.
