New screens and details surface for upcoming Super Stickman Golf 2

Back at the end of July, we learned Noodlecake Games was planning a sequel to its Pocket Gamer Bronze Award-winning Super Stickman Golf.

Despite slipping past its proposed release date of "by the end of 2012", Super Stickman Golf 2 is still very much alive according to a post on Noodlecake's blog.

Putting the delay in a positive light, Noodlecake said that the extra development time for Super Stickman Golf 2 has turned the game into "more than we could've hoped for", and promised that the new courses will be "ridiculously fun to play."

Tee time

In addition to those vague reassurances, Noodlecake also teased a few details on what players can expect from the interactive environments of the new courses.

On their race from tee to hole, players may run into portals, gravity boosters, sticky walls and kinematic objects that will help or hinder their progress.

Also new to Super Stickman Golf 2 is an expanded multiplayer mode. While online matches will still only support 2-4 players, local games will now support up to eight players in a single, mayhem-driven match.

Noodlecake hopes that Super Stickman Golf 2 will see a release in the first quarter of 2013, with alpha testing to begin soon. We'll keep you updated with news of the development and release as it becomes available.
