As for the second piece of Capcom-related news today, we've got Street Fighter IV: Champion Edition in the works for iPhone and iPad.

Street Fighter IV launched in 2010 on iOS and now, seven years later, we can finally see it getting a much needed makeover. Essentially the game will remain the same, but its graphics will be noticeably more refined, as well as adding three new characters and support for wider devices.

With Dundley, Ibuki, and Poison on the list, that brings your fighters up to a grand total of 25. As well as adding support for external controllers and gamepads, the on-screen controls will apparently allow for button-dependant combinations to pull of killer moves.

That's all the information we've got at the moment, though I'm sure we'll hear more in the coming months. Street Fighter IV: Champion Edition is set to launch on iPhone/iPad later this summer.

Until then, you can preregister for the game right here.
