Street Fighter 4: Champion Edition coming 'early July' to iPhone and iPad

Having only teased the game back in May, today Capcom announced the release window of Street Fighter IV: Champion Edition.

There's been a great amount of excitement surrounding the game from mobile gamers across both platforms. Though it's only planned for iOS so far, we'll keep an eye on an Android release.

Street Fighter IV: Champion Edition attempts to perfect the formula by revamping the graphics, adding three new characters, and adding widescreen support to the game, whilst also keeping the charm of Street Fighter IV.

Not long ago, Capcom released an official trailer for the game, only the reaction wasn't too promising given the ratio of likes to dislikes. However, the snippets of gameplay are smooth and I'm still stoked to see how it fares come release.

There's no specifics just yet, but the official Facebook page stated it as coming 'early July'. Pre-registrations are still open, so check it out if you want to be one of the first fighters to know when the game drops.
