Stretch and bend gloopy colours to satisfy the circles in free iOS puzzler Strand
Get in a tangle
In Strand, you stretch and bend gloopy strands of colour between circles. I can't help but think that the developer was inspired by playing around with snot as a child.
Your goal is to satisfy the number of connections each of the circles 'demands'. So, if one of them has the number '3' inside it, then you must link to it three times, for example.
The game starts off very easily, sure. Soon enough, though, there are pegs to bend your strands around, multiple colours to consider, and barriers to limit your options.
Once it gets going, Strand is a surprisingly complex but accessible puzzle game. It's well designed and its visuals are acceptable. The biggest downfall is the lack of any audio.
Still, considering that Strand is free on the App Store, you may as well check it out if you're looking for a new favourite puzzle game.
