Clickgamer has released gooey puzzle-platformer Sticky to the iPhone App Store in New Zealand. It will reach UK and US stores at midnight.

The game is a heady mix of World of Goo, Angry Birds, and Kirby Canvas Curse, as you fling gelatinous protagonist Sticky around the screen, hoping to bash-in sludgy enemies and congeal yourself with the gloopy, gluey walls.

Bouncing on multiple bonces in a single fling earns you combos and mad points. You can show these points off with the achievements and worldwide leaderboards in the game’s Game Center and Crystal social gaming platforms.

Like Kirby, Sticky can change into different types of blobs, with the help of Professor Bunsen, such as a devastating anvil, a freezing ice gem, and a shield that protects you from even the toughest enemies.

It all looks very messy, but Clickgamer promises plenty of levels, loads of special abilities and a story about Dr Globule and Professor Bunsen.

Sticky is out now on iPhone and iPod touch in New Zealand, and will cost 59p / 99c / €0.79c when it hits our shops. A free, lite version will be available too.
