Square Enix slashes price of iPhone games to celebrate Chaos Rings release

It’s becoming a tradition for Square Enix to lower its prices when a major new title arrives on the App Store.

In this case it’s Chaos Rings that’s caused a sudden two-week sale of the entire catalogue of titles.

This includes both Final Fantasy I and Final Fantasy II, which drop to £3.99/$5.99 each.

And, Square has insisted that the sale is to ‘commemorate the release of Chaos Rings’ in all the its App Store descriptions, so be sure to pay your respects as you snaffle up a bargain.

The list in full:

Final Fantasy I - £3.99/$5.99
Final Fantasy II - £3.99/$5.99
Song Summoner: The Unsung Heroes - Encore - £4.99/$7.99
Hills and Rivers Remain - £2.99/$4.99
Sliding Heroes - 59p/$0.99
Vanguard Storm - £2.39/$3.99
Crystal Defenders - £3.49/$5.99
Final Fantasy XIII: Larger than Life Gallery - £3.49/$5.99
