Spore Origins may just be the first
Spore game to come out for iPhone.
Who says so? Will Wright himself, the development genius behind
Spore. Talking at an event in London today, he outlined possible plans for further iPhone versions.
"The iPhone version is really just the cell section of the game," he said. "It's got beautiful graphics, good music and it uses the tilting controls. But we may take other aspects of
Spore and bring them to the iPhone later."

Meanwhile, Wright also confirmed the likely release date for
Spore Origins on iPhone. "I heard it's going to go live on the App Store this Friday," he said.
