You guys know better than anyone just how difficult it is to discover the very best games to play. In fact, that's a large part of the reason why we exist - to help you with this monumental task.

Developers face similarly difficult circumstances. They want you to find, play, and love their games but a small marketing budget and poor exposure in crowded app stores often means they slip under the radar instead.

Spil Games would like to change that.

Time for change

Recently, the publisher ran the 'Unsung Heroes' competition, in collaboration with Pocket Gamer, to try and discover some great games that have not received the exposure that they deserve.

The developer of the winning game will not only receive a publishing deal worth up to $50,000 but also the attention it deserves.

The entries have been counted and reviewed and Spil Games has painstakingly whittled over 300 entries down to a list of 22 finalists.

And you - yes you! - can play your part by voting for your favourite game right here.

Spil Games will be selecting the final winner, but we want to know what you guys think and, more importantly, which games you love.

Just do it

Even if your favourite doesn't end up winning, you're still giving it exposure by voting. So it's absolutely worth getting involved and casting your vote - you can even help further by talking about and sharing your favourite games on social media.
