So you wanna go faster. Faster than a blue blur, you want to literally ignite the air around you due to sheer heat from the friction of you passing through the material plain. Well, Speedball is as close as it gets.

Blasting through loads of levels in a ball of fire, Speedball will have you racing ahead level after level with its fast paced gameplay and quickfire level design.

If you want to know how to blaze through the game as fast as possible, we've got the tips you need, from skins to wins.

1
The need to slow down

The main aim of Speedball is to get to the end of the stage as quickly as possible. That's probably obvious from the title of the game.

But speed isn't always helpful, in fact here it will be to your detriment. As the speed of the game picks up, you'll need to be that much more careful and precise in directing the ball to the goal.

Obstacles can be of different sizes, so unless you have eyes which work fast, you'll need to pay full attention to get to the end.

2
The left-right rhythm

There are only two lanes to switch between, and you can switch by swiping left and right on the screen.

One lane will inevitably have a blocky obstacle, while the other will be clear, or have a golden ball powerup.

You will quickly find yourself finding a sense of flow and rhythm to your left and right swipes - or you will, once you get far enough in - and you can use this sensation of tempo to dodge obstacles and clear the game.

Blazing ahead

Each level starts off fairly slow, but as you progress you start speeding up, eventually causing your ball to erupt into flames.

This is good, but as we've mentioned, sheer speed can make you mess up, causing you to restart the level.

But luckily the speed increase is gradual - as long as you have that rhythm from the previous tip, you'll be able to slowly increase it until you reach the goal.

Speedskins

Of course just mashing through levels isn't enough to keep you satiated, right? Of course, that's why you need to collect skins.

You can get loads of different skins by unlocking them, and there's a bunch of goals to complete, like attempting a certain number of runs, or completing a certain number of stages.

The skins have slightly different physics attached to them too, making them bounce or speed up differently. Worth trying a bunch for best results.
