You no longer have to be Canadian to play PopCap's Solitaire Blitz on iOS

PopCap's excellent Solitaire Blitz, which the firm soft-launched in Canada earlier this month, is now available to download from the App Store globally.

In standard games of solitaire, you have to pick cards that are one higher or one lower than the card in the game's target area.

In Solitaire Blitz, you're tasked with doing exactly the same, but you're pitted against the clock while you do it. So, you have to choose cards as fast as you possibly can.

Solitaire Blitz (much like all of PopCap's Blitz games) features special boosts that allow you to instantly remove rows of cards and - among other things - add extra time to the game's clock.

PopCap's latest release also has an energy system. After playing five games, you either have to wait for your energy to replenish or buy vials of it through in-app purchases.
