Fishlabs, the studio behind iOS hit Galaxy on Fire 2, has made a foray into the world of extreme sports, bringing Snowboard Hero to the iPhone.

Set on a beautiful snowy mountain, the game sees you competing for stardom in 42 events, spread over six tracks, each containing piste, half-pipe, and open alpine areas.

You can take part in Time Trial, Slalom, Freestyle, Gate-time Bonus, and Classic Race events.

Snowboard Hero features four playable characters, each with six standard and four special tricks to unlock, a selection of boards and outfits, and various stats to improve. A further two characters and tracks will be added in a future update.

Online leaderboards are provided through Game Center and OpenFeint.

Snowboard Hero is available on the App Store for a special introductory price of £2.99/$4.99.
