Japanese developer behemoth Capcom might be known best for titles like Resident Evil and Street Fighter, but after almost exhausting its back catalogue with iPhone ports, remakes, and sequels, the company has looked slightly further afield.

Now, Capcom is smurfing it up in Smurf's Village, making a Smurf-related game for the upcoming Smurf movie. The game has you rebuilding the town after jerk-face Gargamel wrecked it. You do this by building houses, gardens, bridges, and more. You’ll also get your green thumb wagging, as you grow crops.

It features all your favourite Smurfs, and they each have their own mini-game to play, including Greedy Smurf's Baking Game, Papa Smurf's Potion Mixing Game, and Painter Smurf's Painting Game.

The game will be free, but you can but 'Smurfberries' with real life coins to expedite growing and construction times. Sounds familiar.

The game is expected to land on iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad this November. Smurf’s up!
