What's this crossover about?
You haven't heard? Devil May Cry 5 is finally out, and to celebrate you can summon Dante, Nero and their cheery pal V into Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation.
In addition to that there's a bunch of exclusive missions and a Devil May Cry makeover to certain elements of the game, including the title screen.
Capcom's flagship action game crossing over with a mobile Sega title is a pretty unique combination, I really thought we'd see Sonic and his friends summonable before we could make "Including Dante from the Devil May Cry series" memes.
There are even a few exclusive story missions as part of the crossover event, but you'll need to have progressed through much of the main campaign first.
This event only lasts until April 3rd, so get involved right now to make the most of all of this, as there are bonuses even for brand new players who are getting in now for the crossover event.

4* Dante
Players logging in right now will get a 4* Dante absolutely free. Fantastic.
Dante is strong, looks cool, and literally shoots enemy demons in the face. Ah, now I see why he is in a Shin Megami Tensei game.
If you're a new player you'll still get Dante, and he'll be a powerful asset for story missions.

Devil May Cry 5 missions
You'll get a bunch of Devil May Cry 5 themed missions to complete, and all of these earn precious Red Orbs, which will earn you a bunch of rewards.
There are also DMC themed quests to take on, though as mentioned, you'll need to have already made a decent amount of story progress first.
One of the missions will reward you with a 4* Nero, although you'll need to log in every day to ensure you complete them all.

The boys are back
The most exciting part about this whole thing is the fact you can summon Dante, Nero and V in SMT, isn't it? Definitely.
You'll get a 4* Dante for logging in, but you can also earn 5* Dante, in addition to 4* and 5* versions of Nero and V too.
The 5* variants will be extra powerful and have unique abilities, and will only be available through the DMC themed summons in the store. You'll need to get lucky to summon these.
