According to Madfinger Games's Marek Rabas, his firm's third-person multiplayer shooter
Shadowgun: DeadZone has been
rejected by Apple's eagle-eyed App Store approval team.
Why? Well, we don't quite know, but its rejection is possibly related to one of the game's more explosive weapons, which is elegantly referred to as the "ShitStorm". Lovely.
A Madfinger spokesperson has told us that the developer is still crossing its fingers about a simultaneous launch of
Shadowgun: DeadZone on Google Play and the App Store, mind.
"We still want to release it today on both Apple and Android," the Czech Republic-based company said.
The 'droid wins outIf you own an Android-powered phone or tablet, you'll definitely be able to get your mitts on
Shadowgun: DeadZone today, incidentally. Of that, there is no doubt.
When this follow-up to the Pocket Gamer Silver Award-winning
Shadowgun does hit both platforms, Android shooter fans will be able to battle alongside their iPhone-toting buddies thanks to cross-platform play.

It's a shame we've got a horribly unbalanced, in app purchase laden Shadowgun title. I really like the first game, but this is a freemium title and you really can't do anything without shelling out a lot of cash, it's not worth the money or time in my view, plus you gotta sign up with Madfinger's own service, there's no Gamecenter support.
Think I'll stick with CoD Black Ops Zombies, far more fun
