"Have you ever wondered which of your friends could protect you with their eyes closed?"

That's the question that the "band" of game creators calling themselves Glitchnap asks with its game Sentree. It's a two-player (or more) defensive shooter.

One person is blindfolded and plays the role of Hero. While the other person is their Spotter and must shout them instructions of where to shoot.

The Spotters see the world inside the game on their tablet or smartphone.

It takes place in a dark forest, in which they're small vulnerable creatures known as Antlers that under the attack of the terrors of the forest.

The Hero is a sentient tree with a magic torch that they need to aim, shoot, and reload to protect the Antlers.

They do this by standing on the spot and spinning, pointing their smartphone in front of them as if it were a gun. Only with co-operation can the Hero and Spotter survive the night at the forest.

You can see how the game plays in the video above. It looks like it would be great fun for a party night.

Sentree will be coming to mobile in 2015. You can find more information on its website.
