Cyberpunk turn-based action platformer Ronin is headed to mobile.

Turn-based mechanics and 2D platformer may sound like an incongruous mix, but Ronin combines them to deliver a fast-paced tactical game of vengeance and stealth action.

Outside of combat, your motorcycle helmet-wearing heroine can move, cling to walls and ceiling, and swing from a grappling hook in real time.

Once spotted by enemies, the action becomes turn-based, as you deftly jump between laser sights and strike down varied foes with your katana. A skill tree unlocks new abilities such as stealth kills and holographic decoys.

While Ronin was recently released on PC, it was always designed with mobile in mind.

When asked last year in his TIGSource devlog, developer Tomasz Waclawek stated he was aiming for "one button mouse controls [that would] be compatible with touch controls" and a game that would be released "not only for the PC, but also Android and iOS."

Details on specific platforms, release date, and price are vague at the moment, but we’ll let you know as more information becomes available. In the meantime, Ronin is currently available on Steam and is coming to PS Vita and PS4 later this year.
