Physics puzzler Rodent Rage for iPhone and iPad looks promising
Mouse trap
Greenhorn game developer TouchTilt Games is bringing the funny to iPad and iPhone with Rodent Rage, a new physics puzzler for Apple’s entire fleet of devices.
Ever wondered how mistreated lab rats would get back at Scientists for being put through hours of grueling testing? Turns out, they’d use circular saws, bazookas, sticks of dynamite and chainsaws.
The game has you firing a cannon and using the cannon ball to set off cruel and unusual traps to kill the white-coated researchers. Chainsaw to the pelvis, dynamite to the noggin - that sort of thing.
Rodent Rage features a number of different worlds and locations, including a warehouse laboratory and a in-the-field forest setting.
The trailer below isn't particularly informative, but it looks a little bit like Angry Birds with more elaborate physics puzzles. If so, it could be good.
The game will be submitted to Apple in the next few days, and as long as the messy violence and bleeped out expletives get past the App Store’s gates you'll be able to play Rodent Rage on your iPad, iPod touch, and iPhone soon.
