Chillingo releases Robin Hood castle defence game on iPhone

iPhone publisher Chillingo describes historical figure and Russell Crowe character Robin Hood as “the world’s most famous archer”.
I think his 'steal from the rich, give to the poor', banditry mantra slightly overshadows his bow and arrow prowess, but maybe that’s just me.
Either way, the new game features Robin Hood and his trusty bow as you fend off against waves of knights, tanks, axe-wielding trolls, and fire-breathing dragons. Just like in real life. Kill enough baddies, and you’ll have saved your village for another day.
If arrows aren’t doing the trick, you can also pick up power-ups like nuclear warheads and shield-stealing magnets to turn the tide of battle.
The tongue-in-cheek game features both Crystal and Game Center support, for achievements and leaderboards. Robin Hood - Archer of the Woods can be yours on iPhone or iPod touch for 59p / 99c / €0.79c.
