Respawnables brings back the 'Healer' weapon for War Child's Armistice event
Event running from the 8th to the 16th
Starting today, Respawnables is bringing back a non-lethal weapon called the 'Healer'. This special piece of kit can be used to stun enemies and heal teammates, without the need to switch ammunition type.
The weapon returns to the game as part of a fundraiser for War Child UK's Armistice event, marking 100 years since the end of The First World War. The event looks to promote peaceful gameplay for the rest of November.
All proceeds from sales of the Healer will go towards aiding children whose lives remain affected by war on a daily basis. From 8th November, we will be supporting @WarChildUK’s Armistice, marking 100 years since the end of The First World War, and raising funds for children still affected by war today! #Armistice2018 pic.twitter.com/imF1BUxRBs — The Respawnables (@TheRespawnables) November 1, 2018
If you'd like to support War Child's event in some other way, then there's a Steam sale currently on, with proceeds also going towards the fundraiser. Abzu, RIME, and The Talos Principle are a few of the standout games on offer.
If you've not got around to giving Respawnables a go, then you can nab it for free over on the App Store or Google Play. You have up until the 16th to take part in the event, and clearly it's for a very good cause.
