Zynga's Battlefield Heroes-looking free-to-play shooter Respawnables is now live on the App Store, all around the world.

It's a third-person blaster, with online multiplayer and matches against bots. You can unlock weapons, clothes, and gadgets by completing missions, or just by buying them with IAPs.

We went hands-on with Respawnables just after it was soft-launched in Canada. We said, "Everything's super fast-paced, and you have enough health that you don't die every five seconds."

But, we warned that "some weapons might need balancing tweaks. Combine that with the fact that you can buy the best weapons, and Respawnables has the danger of quickly becoming unfair."

Before you deploy, just know you'll need an iPhone 4 or newer; a fourth-gen iPod touch or newer; or any iPad to play it.
