Chillingo's Rescue Quest is a match-stuff puzzler that wears its Candy Crush influences on its sleeve. The twist is, this time you're matching gems to clear a path to some trapped fairies.
It's all nicely presented, with lots of shiny colours and glittery glowy power-ups, and the puzzling is smooth and easy in its own way.
There's nothing here that will suddenly convert you to the side of free to play puzzling, but if you're a fan of the genre then you'll probably get sucked in to a degree.
Rescue Quest is out now on the App Store, it won't cost you a penny to download it, and it'll probably keep you entertained for an hour or so.
