Master martial arts in iPhone and iPad reboot of PC title Rag Doll Kung-Fu
Dust off your belt
South London-based developer Another Place Productions has announced that it's working on an iPhone and iPad reboot of PC title Rag Doll Kung-Fu (see trailer below).
Specific gameplay details are pretty scarce (read: non-existent), but it's pretty safe to assume that this forthcoming iOS title won't be too far removed from its predecessors.
All we know for sure, mind, is that Rag Doll Kung-Fu for iOS has been rebuilt from the ground up for buttonless mobile devices.
It will feature plenty of character upgrades; multiplayer leaderboards and tournaments; single-player survival modes; and in-app purchases based around "customisation".
For those of you who don't know, Another Level Productions is a fairly new studio that was set up by ex-Lionhead bods Jeremie Texier, Guillaume Portes, and John McCormack.
"When we started, we came at [Rag Doll Kung-Fu] with a console mind. We had a load of ideas, but they were all a bit grand," McCormack said.
"We've had to retrain our brains, but we realised that the best thing to do would be something quick, to really polish a little game and get it out there. Then, strangely enough this opportunity comes along."
Another Level Productions is hoping to submit Rag Doll Kung-Fu to Apple in either June or July.
