ROME: Total War finally charges its way to iPhone on August 23rd

First released on iPad back in 2016, ROME: Total War is getting its iPhone launch in only a week and we're pretty freaking excited for it.

For those who are a bit late to the party, ROME is an epic strategy game where you take command of your armies and ensure victory by many clever means. It's not all about swinging swords and gouging people's eyes out, no, you need to use your tactics, politics, and a carefully placed assassination or two to get the result you want.

Keep an eye on your economic, religious, and civil affairs, watch huge 3D battles play out, and enjoy buttery smooth controls as you send your troops off. Just bear in mind that you need the following devices and iOS 11 if you want to dive in on iPhone:
