The Qi Report: These are the best iOS games of the last 3 months
|
iOS

Our sister site Quality Index (Qi) is all about finding the most critically acclaimed iPhone and iPad games.

For each iOS game that comes out, Qi tracks the review scores from all the top mobile sites and then squishes those scores down into one, definitive, Qi rating.

So, what games have come out on top in the last three months? These are the top rated iPhone and iPad games from fourth quarter of 2015.

1. The Room Three (9.4 Qi rating, 10 reviews)

When The Room Three was announced for a late 2015 release, it was pretty obvious that it was going to take the top spot.

And, thanks to the continuation of the excellent atmospheric puzzling we've come to expect from the franchise, it did. And it won the coveted Gold Award here on Pocket Gamer to boot.

2. BADLAND 2 (9.3 Qi rating, 5 reviews)

BADLAND 2 took us completely by surprise last year when it launched completely out of the blue and smashed its predecessor into the dust.

It's a better game, see, while remaining true to its roots. It also got itself a lovely Gold Award at review.

3. Blendoku 2 (9.3 Qi rating, 3 reviews)

Blendoku 2 carries on the excellent colour-blending puzzles of the original, but adds multiplayer, new puzzle types, and a painting gallery into the mix.

It's just an all-round better game and that's reflected in its high ranking on this chart.

4. A Good Snowman is Hard to Build (9.2 Qi rating, 6 reviews)

A Good Snowman is Hard to Build is an excellent little puzzler in which you, as a monster, have to build a snowman.

It's gorgeous, it's challenging, and you should absolutely play it - especially if you liked Monsters Ate My Birthday Cake.

5. Downwell (9.2 Qi rating, 5 reviews)

Of course Downwell made it onto this list. What's criminal is that it isn't closer to the top.

It's a mix of so many genres, including platformer, endless runner, roguelike, and action adventure. Also, the main character has upgradeable Gunboots.
