iOS

Our sister site Quality Index (Qi) is all about finding the most critically acclaimed iPhone and iPad games.

For each iOS game that comes out, Qi tracks the review scores from all the top mobile sites and then squishes those scores down into one, definitive, Qi rating.

So, what games have come out on top in the last three months? These are the top rated iPhone and iPad games from the Q3 2015.

1. iPad only: Dungeon of the Endless (9.1 Qi rating, 5 reviews)

Dungeon of the Endless is a hybrid mix of roguelike and tower defence and Qi's walkaway best iOS game of the last quarter.

You have to form a team of heroes to defend your crashed ship's generator from hordes of monsters while trying to find the exit to a seemingly endless dungeon.

2. Rebuild 3: Gangs of Deadsville (8.8 Qi rating, 4 reviews)

As the name suggests, Rebuild 3 challenges you to revive a city ravaged by a zombie apocalypse. Of course, you're going to have to make some tough decisions and sacrifice a few of your citizens for the greater good but that's all part of the fun.

3. HoPiKo (8.7 Qi rating, 5 reviews)

HoPiKo invites you to save gaming itself by making death-defying leaps from platform to platform in the five stages of each level without dying.

If you thought Super Meat Boy was hard, you've seen nothing yet. HoPiKo will require every ounce of your reflexes and muscle memory if you want to survive.

4. Magic Flute by Mozart (8.7 Qi rating, 3 reviews)

If Monument Valley was set in Tokyo and based on Mozart's 'Magic Flute' opera, Magic Flute by Mozart would be that game.

There are 32 spatial puzzles waiting to be solved in multiple different ways by three different characters - all while Mozart's beautiful music is playing in the background.

5. Blocky Highway (8.7 Qi rating, 3 reviews)

If Blocky Roads was Minecraft meets Trials, Blocky Highway is Minecraft meets Temple Run.

It's a voxel endless runner which takes its scoring system straight out of Burnout so driving recklessly and crashing in ridiculous vehicles is a must.
