Puzzle Quest for iPhone getting connected features

TransGaming has announced plans to introduce community features for its Puzzle Quest game on iPhone.

The company will be using the newly-announced OpenFeint: Studio platform from Aurora Feint, which lets publishers set up their own Xbox Live-style gaming communities.

Details on what these connected features will be are thin on the ground, but OpenFeint allows stuff like high-score tables, player chat and integration with Facebook and Twitter, among other features.

"TransGaming is excited to bring Puzzle Quest on iPhone into the OpenFeint community," says TransGaming CEO Vikas Gupta. "OpenFeint's private label service allows us to offer a branded user experience while gaining access to a large gaming community on the iPhone."

We'll keep you posted on the new version of Puzzle Quest, obviously. For more on what OpenFeint: Studio means for iPhone developers, click here.
