I don't think there's many people who haven't heard of The Sims, but for those who love it there's some great news. Will Wright, the creator of SimCity, The Sims, and Spore, is on his way back to mobile with a new title in-hand.

During a presentation at GDC yesterday, Wright revealed that his game development company, Gallium Artists, is working on Proxi, a simulation game built by Unity software where you'll be able to build worlds based on your personal memories. That sounds trippy, but stay with us.

As well as announcing their plans, Gallium Artists revealed a contest, or rather, an interesting job advertisement. They're on the look out for a 3D game artist to help them bring their vision to life. If you think you fit the bill and fancy rubbing elbows with Wright, head over to Unity's challenge page here.

There's no further information on Proxi right now, but if it's anything like Wright's other projects (especially with a personal twist), it has the potential to be something special.

Perhaps we'll be getting something along the same lines as The Sims, but as well as feeding our own memories into the game we'll be able to tweak outcomes and live our lives (digitally) exactly the way we want to.

In the same breath, that thought kind-of creeps me out since the whole mystery of life is about experiencing successes and failures and learning from them. To be able to go back and live out a life you statistically COULD have had if you'd made a different decision would drive me a bit mad.

This is total speculation, of course. There'll likely be a bit of a wait before we hear more on Proxi, but what do you guys think it'll be like? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
