| Prison Life RPG

Prison Life RPG is surprisingly deep. It simulates a jail with dozens of unique inmates, and let's you proceed however you like.

You can join a gang, make money, bribe guards, and even try to break out.

It's almost like a roguelike as death (by suicide or murder or the electric chair) is permanent and each game starts differently.

But it can start to feel more like manipulating a spreadsheet of numbers (from stats to happiness) than truly being in the clink.

And the whole thing's let down by a wonky English translation, dull pop culture references, and grotty jokes about dropping the soap.

Prison Life RPG has an unexpected amount of depth and replayability, but the number crunching can get tedious. Plus, it's often deeply unpleasant
