A little while back we told you about all of the exciting stuff happening across the world for Pokemon GO, one of them being Europe's Safari Zone. Well, the first series of events are literally just around the corner.

At the Pokemon GO Safari Zone event, you'll be awarded with an in-game medal and 2 km Eggs from different PokeStops in the area. Lures will be in play, so expect to see plenty of Pokemon, including Chansey, Larvitar, and maybe even a Shiny Pikachu if you're lucky. However, Gym and Raid Battles will be postponed in the chosen shopping centres for the length of the event.

Much like it was when the game first came out, eager Trainers can meet or catch up in the team lounges. Plus, since the event will be taking place in various shopping centres, there'll be special offers for GO players in certain shops.

Free, non-transferable digital tickets will soon be available to reserve so keep an eye out. You must be 13 or over and have a valid photo ID on the day.

The dates/locations are as follows:

September 16th

  • CentrO in Oberhausen, Germany
  • Les Quatre Temps in Paris, France
  • La Maquinista in Barcelona, Spain

October 7, 2017

  • Fisketorvet—Copenhagen, Denmark
  • Centrum Cerný Most—Prague, The Czech Republic

October 14, 2017

  • Mall of Scandinavia—Stockholm, Sweden
  • Stadshart Amstelveen—Amstelveen, The Netherlands
