What better way to kick off the week than to give you guys the low-down on Pokemon GO's latest 0.42.3/1.13.3 update.

It's not the most exciting one out of Niantic's line-up so far but it's equally essential as it brings a few smaller details into the spotlight. As of now, Professor Willow recognises that different eggs have different patterns depending on how long it takes to hatch them. For example a green spotted egg takes 2 km to hatch whilst a purple spotted egg takes 10 km.

Other minor fixes include Pokemon type icons are displayed on the information screen for each Pokemon, and Niantic has now given us a low battery indicator for the Pokemon GO Plus accessory. After that it's the usual unspecified bug fixes and so on.

If you haven't got the game already grab it free-to-play here on the App Store, or on Google Play.
