Catch 'em all as quick as possible
Pokémon Rumble Rush is available for those savvy enough to get it installed on your mobile device, and just like any other good Pokémon game, there are Pokémon to catch.
In this guide we're going to run down how to catch Pokémon, even those tricky boss monsters. There are loads of Pokémon to catch to get started, and it'll take you a decent amount of effort to get them.
As long as you have a powerful team and keep catching new mons, you will undoubtedly become powerful and progress through the game. Nice. Read on for everything you need to know about catching Pokémon in Pokémon Rumble Rush.
Gotta catch em all
Another Pokémon game, another opportunity to catch every single Pokémon in existence. Or at least 150 to get started, eh?
Pokémon Rumble Rush is available in select regions, and like any other good Pokémon game, catching is a primary mechanic. Though you won't be throwing balls in this game.
Here, you'll be attacking certain Pokémon, each of which have a chance of being added to your arsenal. Though it is never guaranteed, especially when it comes to boss Pokémon.
Luckily, time is on your side, and you don't lose anything from trying missions again and again in order to get the Pokémon you want.
You choose a location to hunt Pokémon from an overworld map, and using rainbow feathers, you track down Pokémon locations. Luckily the game gives you a hint as to where others have found the Pokémon you're looking for, first.
It also tells you at the bottom of the screen what Pokémon can be found in that area, and which you are missing, making filling the Pokédex easier.
Though, an important thing to note is that you will have limited space to store Pokémon, and will have to get rid of them, Pokémon Go style, regularly to make space.
1
The fight begins
Once you're in the battle, you must tap the screen to attack enemy Pokémon, and hold the screen to dodge.
Dodging is faster than moving normally, so use it often, and hold the screen to unleashed a charged attack.
These are battle basics, but you'll need them in order to take down Pokémon, and earn that chance of catching them.
2
Shiny boys
As you meander through the stage, you'll see shiny Pokémon - not literally shiny Pokémon like palette swaps, but they'll be shining a bit.
These Pokémon can definitely be caught, and if you're collecting, there are the Pokémon to aim directly for.
Though honestly, you should just take down all Pokémon you see in any given stage.
3
Try and try again
So you didn't catch them the first time, huh? Well there's no need to quit now. Just try again.
If you used a rainbow feather to find Pokémon, you will be able to replay the stage again from the Adventure menu, so you can keep hunting Pokémon you missed.
And if you can't find the Pokémon you want, well, that sucks. Use the Hint button on the map screen, and keep selecting where they appear.
